The communities of Western Province, Zambia, will proudly hold a 6% non-dilutable equity share in our project, honouring the invaluable land and water resources they provide.
Once the power station is operational, the project will contribute $500,000 annually towards community development. These funds will be managed by two dedicated trusts: one for initiatives across Western Province and another for the immediate project area.
These trusts are designed to uphold the highest standards of governance and transparency, drawing on best practices from similar trusts in Zambia and the region.

Since 2012, the project has been deeply committed to engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders. This includes all levels of the Zambian Government, traditional leaders in Western Province, local community representatives, tourism stakeholders, and residents of Sioma and Senanga districts.
Building a strong relationship with the local community has always been a top priority. Our dedicated Community Liaison Team and Committee ensure this through regular meetings, updates, grievance redressal, and various project-related activities
